How can I make a donation to AZA United?

The easiest option is to click the “Donate” button on our website, which goes to www.AZAunited.org/donate

If you prefer, donors can also send a check or call our main office to make a donation over the phone. If you would like to make another type of donation, such as in-kind or bequests, contact our Development Team.

Donations and philanthropy are an important of AZA United’s ability to have a lasting impact on our local community and the people we serve. Most of all funds received through donations directly support our programs for families (including those not covered by insurance) or expansion initiatives such as developing new services or expanding to more locations. Every dollar helps!

Yes, AZA United is approved by the AZ Department of Revenue for the Qualified Charitable Organization Tax Credit which allows Arizona donors to receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit. The maximum tax credit amount for individual donors and married couples is updated annually. In some cases, donors can also get a federal tax deduction. Consult with your tax advisor to assess your personal situation related to tax credits and/or deductions.

Donations made using our secure online form or made by phone receive a receipt immediately after the credit card is charged. For donations made by mailing a check, it can take up to 4 weeks to get a receipt.

Many employers offer matching gift programs that can increase the impact of your donation. To participate, please check with your company for details on how to request a match, this often involves submitting your donation receipt through your employer’s giving portal.


If you’ve requested a matching gift for AZA United, we encourage you to email us at Development@AZAunited.org so we can track the request and notify you when the matching contribution is received.

Yes, we welcome corporate support. Simply visit https://azaunited.org/onlinedonation to make a donation on behalf of your company, business, or organization.
It’s impactful to celebrate the life of a friend or loved one by making a donation to the AZA United in their honor or memory. Simply indicate on the comment field of our secure online donation form the details of who you are honoring with your contribution. Access the form here: https://azaunited.org/onlinedonation

In most cases, it is possible for a person to organize a fundraising event or campaign to raise funds for AZA United. However, it is important to note that we need to review and approve your plans before you are permitted to use AZA United’s name or logo as a beneficiary of any fundraising activities.  The purpose of this policy is to protect donors and ensure transparency.  Please contact our Development Team at Development@AZAunited.org if you would like to propose a fundraising initiative to benefit AZA United. Yes, we do. Monthly giving to AZA United is the best investment you can make in support of Arizona families living with autism and other developmental disabilities. Your ongoing support provides essential programs and services for individuals affected as well as their families.
