2025 Run for Autism - 5k & Fun Run

Run, Walk or Just Play to Support Autism Families!

Get ready to lace up your sneakers and join us for a day full of fun, community spirit, and most importantly, supporting families living with autism and developmental disabilities. On Sunday, March 9th at 9:00 AM, we’re taking over Kiwanis Park in Tempe for our 4th Annual Run for Autism. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just in it for the lawn games, there’s something for everyone!

Why Participate? 

March in Arizona is the perfect time to enjoy the beautiful spring weather before the heat of summer kicks in. This event offers a wonderful opportunity to spend a morning outdoors with your loved ones, soaking in the sunshine and fresh air while getting active together. It’s a great chance to make the most of the perfect temperatures before the heat sets in! 

But it's not just about getting outside, it’s about coming together as a community! We encourage everyone to create a team with family, friends, or co-workers, or simply come out and meet new people. Whether you're bonding with loved ones, taking advantage of this great team building activity or making new connections, this event is all about supporting each other and having fun for a great cause! 

Plus, this is the perfect chance to learn more about the incredible resources and support AZA offers to families. From programs for children and parents to support for siblings and others involved in their care, this event will give you the opportunity to discover the wide array of services available to help families navigate life with autism. Event Highlights: 

• 5K Run/Walk – Ready to race or enjoy a scenic walk through the park? This event is for you! 
• 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk – Not up for the full 5K? The 1-Mile event is a perfect option. 
• Kids Dash – Bring the little ones out for a dash full of smiles and fun! 
• Costume Race – Watch your favorite characters and other silly costumes race against each other for a good laugh! 
• Lawn Games – Parachutes, ring toss, and more fun games for all ages. 
• Award Ceremony – Let’s celebrate everyone’s effort and hand out some well-deserved prizes!

And That’s Not All! 

All registrants will receive a race bib and t-shirt to rock on race day, and the first 300 registrants will also get a special participation medal.
