Dr. Ehren Werntz began his career supporting people with developmental disabilities 25 years, and since 2006 he has served in various programmatic and clinical leadership positions at Arizona Autism United. Dr. Werntz is a graduate of Arizona State University and The Chicago School with degrees in Special Education, Psychology, and Behavior Analysis. Ehren has been heavily involved with the Arizona Association for Behavior Analysis including service as executive board member, treasurer, and co-chair of both the Acceptance and Commitment Training/Relational Frame Theory and ABA for Adults Special Interest Groups.
Dr. Werntz oversees AZA United’s behavioral health outpatient programs, family support, and DDD services. He personally consults with complex care teams in the behavioral health system and works with his teams to continually develop and refine behavioral treatment models for traditionally underserved populations. His clinical focus and interest areas include complex behavior challenges, whole family behavioral treatment, behavior support for people with co-occurring diagnoses, and quality of life outcomes for recipients of behavioral treatment.
